IMS Control Center

Users can access IMS functionality by logging in to PureSafety and clicking the IMS tab. Clicking a link on the left opens the center screen area for the selected screen.

The highlighted areas are described in the table below.

Option	Description
General function bar	Allows you to complete the actions below. Use the Report an Incident button on the News Feed screen to add a new Incident Report. Perform actions on multiple records at the same time. Select several records and click the appropriate button in the general function bar to perform the action on all of them. To select several records from various places in the list, press the CTRL key on your keyboard, select the appropriate records, and release the CTRL key. To select several records that appear next to each other in the list, select the first one, press the SHIFT key, click the last record you want to select, and release the SHIFT key.
Record-Specific function bar	Displays the actions available specific to the selected record.
Filter options	Allows you to restrict your search of records using a range of criteria.
Go To link	Allows you to go directly to an incident by typing the incident ID in the pop-up window.
